Siemens Simcenter SCADAS

This supervisory control and data acquisition system (SCADAS) is composed by a variety of input/output cards, which are responsible to make the signal conversion between analog and digital on a proper sample/logging rate. The data is processed by a Simcenter Teastlab software for a variety of analyses.

The Simcenter SCADAS hardware supports a variety of analog and digital transducers for acoustic, vibration and durability engineering. A future-proof investment, the hardware is seamlessly integrated with Simcenter Testlab for accelerated test setup and accurate results.[1]

At A2SRL, this equipment is widely used on ground vibration tests for the modal characterization of flexible and very flexible aero structures. Additional devices commonly used on modal tests such as accelerometers, impact hammers and shakers, are also available to be used when necessary.
